Who I am

Matteo Cressoni was born in Volta Mantovana on October 28, 1984. His father Giancarlo, a great motor and go-kart enthusiast, soon transmitted his passion to his son. Matteo cultivates an interest in 4-wheelers since the age of 10, driving go-karts following the rigmarole of the various categories in National and International championships.

From GO-Karts to Formula 3

In 2011, not yet seventeen years old, the big jump: Matteo goes from go-karts to formula cars, first in Formula Renault 2000, then in Formula 3000 and finally in Formula 3 where, in 2004, he became Italian Champion. The conquest of the title also brings the deserved visibility and in 2005 Matteo enters nellìorbita Ferrari, which, with BMS Scuderia Italia, deploys him in the LMES European Championship where, on board a 550 GT1, he becomes European Vice-Champion.

In the following seasons, the driver from Mantova took part in numerous National, European and World Championships with GT cars, Ferrari but also Porsche, Lamborghini, BMW, Jaguar, very often achieving outstanding results.

ON THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS TRACKS

In 2007, noticing his crystalline talent, Audi summons Cressoni for a series of tests in Almeria (Spain) aboard an A4 DTM: impressed by the lap times, they decide to field him in the Okayama (Japan) race of the Asian Le Mans Series with the R10 TDI prototype, where it finished in fourth place.

Since 2012, and up to the present day, Matteo specialized himself in endurance races with GT cars, competing in numerous 24 Hours and 12 Hours on the most famous and treacherous circuits in the world: Le Mans, Nurburgring, Spa, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Daytona, Brno and many others.
